Livin' In a Fantasy

Well, it's sad to say that this week is my final week of Yahoo Fantasy Baseball. Not to brag, but I kicked ass in my league all season long; leading from the first week, and finishing first in the regular season. I'm now fittingly fighting with a huge Red Sox fan for the title. Here is a look at my final roster; I believe at one point, I had about 8 Blue Jays on the team. But once the dust settled, this is the team I have stuck with for the mostpart;

One big break I got early, was drafting A-Rod. I was fifth to draft, and basically only drafted A-Rod because he was next on the list. Little did I know he would put on an MVP season.

Many people scoff at fact that people take Fantasy sports seriously; but I truly think there is a lot of skill involved in having a successful team. Not only that, but I think Fantasy sports are a way to branch out onto players and teams you would otherwise not follow. Yeah, that and it's a way for people to feel as though they are General Managers of an actual ball team. Hey, I couldn't have done much than JP!
