Matt Garza in: The Unhittables 2

By
9 innings, 5 hits, no walks, and 11 strikeouts wasn't enough. David Purcey was good, but not as good as Matt Garza.

Incredibly, Garza has completely shutout the Jays in back to back games. I don't know if it's because he was at the Trop or maybe it was because Garza had the Happy Heckler on his side. Either way, give the man credit for shutting out the Jays ... again. Unfortunately, David Purcey's stellar start was overshadowed by the Rays win. Purcey is now starting to look more and more like a possible 5th starter for next year.

Your Jamie Campbell "WTF Comment of the Night" came in the 5th inning when good old JC made a very crucial observation about Purcey.

"You might notice that David Purcey tends to perspire a lot".

Thank you Jamie Campbell for noticing David Purcey's overactive sweat glands. It's not as if David wasn't already embarassed about his hyperhidrosis - now you have to let everyone know about it. And someone please remind Jamie Campbell that he does in fact work for the Toronto Blue Jays - so he shouldn't call a game-ending catch by the Rays as if it were a walk-off game-winning hit. Oh wait, he already did that.

  1. JC looks like a douchebag, even more so than the happy heckler. WTF is right!

  2. You pretty much nailed it there hodesworthe, JC is a DB. If you've never seen/heard him call a Jays game, he has a tendency to go nuts when the opposing team hits a walkoff hit or makes a game saving catch. Like last night when Justin Ruggiano make that snag in the outfield. JC went apeshit when that happened.

  3. I think I pretty much understand what's being said here. But has anyone tried homeopathic HGH oral sprays?
