Gregg Zaun's Grand Slam Breakfast

By
I realize this post is a few days late, but holy shit clutch-hitting from Gregg Zaun!! I can imagine that walk-off grand slam was probably one of the highlights of his career, and if that ends up being one of his last memories with the Blue Jays - then it will be a fine one. As pictured above, he celebrated at home plate with a Denny's Grand Slam Breakfast.

  1. Damn you, Zaun! Damn you! Geez, only 1/2 a game lead now. September is starting to piss me off.

  2. Yeah, who would've guessed that a 40-year old backup catcher would've won that game!

Well, atleast the Rays are still on top - even if it's only 1/2 a game. Remember, even if they don't win the AL East, the Rays are still in good shape to win the wild card. But then they'd have to play the Angels in the playoffs. eek!

  4. Wow - that's incredible. That was definitely one of the most exciting Jays games of 2008. I actually missed watching it on TV. From the time I got out of my car, to turning on the TV, Zauny was already running the bases.
