Following in the footsteps of Drunk Jays Fans and Ghostrunner on First, the Blue Jay Hunter has now joined the Twitter universe. Initially, I debated back and forth about whether or not to sign up for Twitter. At first it looked like a glorified version of updating your Facebook status, but now I see that it's actually quite useful. Besides, those constant cries for attention by friends updating their status on Facebook every 5 minutes are annoying anyway.Just in case there weren't enough ways to waste company time, woodpeck at The Hills Are Alive suggested that maybe I put together a Blue Jay Hunter Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League. I think it's a great idea, so if you're interested in playing this year just send me an email to ianrhunter@gmail.com. I'm hoping for at least 8 teams, but the more the merrier.
I've been on twitter for a bit and it definitely is useless. The only real difference that I can see is the people using it are less narcissistic than those updating their facebook status'.
ReplyDeleteIt's status updates for contributing members of society.
(as for the Fantasy League, I don't think I can handle more than 1!)
I've been on Twitter for a while now, too, and also find it mind-numbingly useless. It's the Facebook status feature. That's it, that's all.
ReplyDeleteGo Jays.
I'm slowing catching on to Twitter, we'll see what happens :)
