Blue Jays Winter Fashion

By

Unless you're fortunate enough to be living on the West Coast (what up Dave), Canada is a pretty cold and desolate place, occasionally resembling the ice planet of Hoth.

Aside from the constant companion of Jim Beam, the only other way for baseball fans to stay warm during the long winter months is with some Blue Jays Winter Fashion. Below is a collection of some of the trendiest pieces available on the interwebs for you to enjoy.

Toronto Blue Jays Bomber Jacket
Price: $131.99 USD

Not only will this lightweight microfibre suede-like coat keep you warm during the winter months, it will almost certainly repel any woman within fifty feet.

Toronto Blue Jays Downflap Cap
Price: $31.99 USD

These are the very same hats seen worn by players over the past few years in the playoffs. Downflap caps are an excellent way to not only shield your ears from the cold, but also block out any conversations about how the Jays haven't made the playoffs in 17 years.

Toronto Blue Jays Scarf
Price: $9.99 USD

Who says that scarves are only appropriate for children up to age nine? With this hip yet practical Blue Jays scarf, you can let the neighbourhood kids know that you mean business ... right before they pelt you with snowballs.

Toronto Blue Jays Floss Cap Hat
Price: $9.58 USD each or $92.22 per lot

If there's any place on earth that is in tune with the harsh Canadian winters, it's Fujian China. For the low price of almost $100 CAD, you can send your money there and hope that 10 hats like these get shipped to your house. But don't count on it.

Toronto Blue Jays Gloves
Price: $10.99 USD

When the temperature plummets, you need to protect your extremities from the cold. Save your hands and stand out like a sore thumb at the same time with these beauties. They also receive the highest honour: the unofficial stamp of approval from O.J. Simpson.

Toronto Blue Jays Performance Toque
Price: $19.99 USD

Here's where that Alex Rios/Tim Lincecum trade would have worked out perfectly, as Lincecum could endorse these Blue Jays skull caps for all the hipsters/Fallout Boy fans out there.

  1. That's some pretty rad jays gear. Sign me up for the down hat and scarf. Spring Training can't come fast enough.

  2. It's about -20 with winds gusting to 80 km/h here in the'peg. Yeah, not cool.

  3. We need to buy that T-Bird hat up top for Tao. He'd rock that shit with pride.

  4. Colt, out of all the above I'd probably go with the red Jays dogflap hat. Though, that scarf looks pretty tempting too.

Ack, one of my buddies lives out in Milestone Saskatchewan and I saw some of the pictures from the most recent storm up on Facebook. It really does look like Hoth out there - I feel for ya!

eyebleaf, Tao would love it. Let's get in on order ASAP!

  5. Where did you find all of this beautiful stuff?

  6. Awesome post. Can't say the same about the articles of clothing. I wouldn't wear any of these items. The only way you could look good in that bomber jacket is if you had an epic stache to distract people from looking below your chin.

  7. Mattt, it's amazing what you can find on the internets when you're desperate enough for Blue Jays related material.

HLF, out of all of them, the only article I might actually wear is that red Jays hat. The bomber jacket should definitely come with a press on moustache. I can totally see Tom Sellick wearing one of those.

  8. A friend of mine actually has a hat with the ear flap things, similar to the red one. He absolutely loves it. I know they're bootleg, but if they keep your ears warm while showing team pride I guess it's worth it. Besides, you also get the warm feeling inside knowing that because of you, a child in China gets to keep working in a sweatshop. Great deal, amiright?

  9. There is not a damn thing wrong with wearing scarves. I wear my West Ham scarf everyday (with pride!) from October to June.

  10. Nick, I think the New Era cap you can order off the website, but the red one is definitely bootleg. We're all about supporting other country's economies around here!

Drew, I give you credit for rocking a scarf because I certainly can't do it. I'm like a friggin five year old - any clothing that isn't attached to my body gets lost and left behind.
